The new GDPR, effective from May 25, 2018, has a significant impact on how every company and organization processes the personal data of European citizens.

Personal Data is considered any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, identification number, location data, electronic identifier, among others. The personal data collected through our website includes: full name, email, mobile phone number, professional registration number, country of residence, gender, professional name, address, city, postal code, taxpayer number and workplaces.

Consent occurs when the processing of data is based on your freely given authorization, provided after relevant and specific information has been made available regarding the purpose of the data collection.
Contract Execution
The collection of data is necessary to enable later contact when the user reaches us through the website form. It is also essential for the registration process in the Softdiet software, for invoicing purposes and for access to payment methods such as MB Way, Multibanco and Visa.

The processing of personal data may be carried out based on legitimate interest in situations related to business activities that, although not legally or contractually required, may be justified for operational or management reasons.

Softdiet uses the data collected through its website exclusively for internal use, and no sharing or exchange of user data with other entities takes place.

In general, the personal data collected is intended to allow Softdiet to contact individuals who reach us through the website to clarify questions or issues related to our products, or to complete registration in our software and corresponding invoicing.

Personal data is normally collected electronically through our website on the contact page, registration page and profile page for invoice issuance.
Personal Data Retention Period
Softdiet retains your personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. In certain situations, depending on the legal basis, data may be deleted or anonymized if the client exercises the right to object, the right to erasure or withdraws consent, except when legal obligations require retention.
Third‑Party Data Protection (Zoom, Google and Closum)
Zoom, Google and Closum are not services provided by Softdiet, nor do they have any affiliation with VITALCODE. Integration is carried out using publicly available APIs, and by using these services the user leaves the legal scope of Softdiet. Therefore, Softdiet does not assume responsibility for the use of Zoom, Google or Closum services.
Calendar API
By using the Calendar API, the user authorizes Softdiet to create, edit and delete events, as well as to share with Google the following data: client name, location, appointment start and end time, notes and time zone.Zoom API
For users operating within the European Union, the Zoom service may not meet the necessary GDPR security requirements. By using the Zoom API, the user authorizes Softdiet to collect the account ID and user ID.Closum API
The company collects and processes personal data such as mobile phone numbers and the content of messages sent through our SMS service, for service provision, performance monitoring and continuous platform improvement.
